Walk With Others
This is a 5.5 mile, dog-friendly guided walk, lasting 4.5 hours across Haworth Moor. It goes off the beaten track to all the famous landmarks and beauty spots.

Where the walk begins & ends
The walk begins at 9am from the Wuthering Heights Pub (also dog-friendly) in Stanbury and ends there at approx. 1pm. Most people are hungry by then!
Your ticket includes free parking at the pub (at your own risk) and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you book a lunch with them (not included in your ticket) which will be prepared for your return.
The pub has a full lunchtime menu including local produce, gluten-free and vegan options. It also serves hot soups, teas, coffees and treats for the dog.
You can either very quickly warm yourself up at the end of the walk in front of their log fire, or if sunny, further enjoy the sun in their lovely beer garden.
Should you not be purchasing lunch or drinks from the pub, you will be expected to leave the car park at the end of the walk to make way for paying customers.
Once refreshed, you still have plenty of time to explore the many independent shops in Haworth and maybe even finish off the afternoon with a coffee & cake in one of the many cafes!

FAQs
Q – Can I call you?
A – Yes, but please be aware that myself and Duncan may be out on walks during the day. It will be better to text or WhatsApp 07483835646 in the first instance or email hello@bronteadventures.co.uk.
Q – Is a minimum number of walkers required?
A – Yes, but we’ve never had to cancel a walk to date, but we need to generate at least £80 per walk for it to be viable. Should this happen, we will offer you the option to re-schedule and join others on a different date or you can have a full refund.
Q – What if government restrictions prevent us from travelling or walking?
A – You can either re-schedule to another day, buy something else from us or get a refund. You decide.
Q – What if it’s raining?
A – We walk in all weathers, but if it’s not for you, you can either re-schedule to another day, buy something else from us or get a refund. You decide.
Q – Can I cancel?
A – Yes. We want you to have a great time, so you can cancel for whatever reason, or re-schedule to another date.
Q – Is it a difficult walk?
A – It’s a hilly walk with a little scrambling over rocks but done at a gentle pace. You do need to be fit and healthy, but it’s not as tough as walking in the lake district.
Q – What do I wear?
A – Much depends on the season, but please plan for it to be cold, wet and windy with lots of layers and you can make adjustments on the day. The moor is usually wet so please expect your feet to get wet and your boots muddy!
Q – Do you do other dates and times?
A – Yes. Public events are on one Saturday per month, but you can book a private walk for your group on any day or time that suits, subject to availability. This costs £150 for up to twelve people (£12.50 each).
Q – Do you have other walks?
A – Escape To The Moor is our main walk as it covers all the important Bronte landmarks. if you would prefer a shorter moorland walk with a gentle guided tour around the historic cobbled lanes of Haworth, please get in touch for a private booking.
Q – How do I get to the Wuthering Heights pub to begin the walk if I don’t have a car?
A – The number for Bronte taxis is 01535 644442 and should cost approx. £3/4. Depending on how many are booked on to the walk, we may be able to collect you from Haworth earlier in the morning and arranged in advance.
Q – Can I bring my dog?
A – Yes. Dogs need to be kept on a lead to care for sheep and nesting birds.
