As you would expect with the Covid-19 situation, most events in Haworth are either cancelled or scaled back.
Haworth is still very much open for business though and welcoming lots of people every day. Safety measures are in place in all shops, cafes and bars, so do visit and enjoy your time with us. Hopefully 2021 will allow us to host our usual stunning events as shown in the Christmas picture.
Events are added to this page as soon as we receive them, so do scroll down to see what’s on and visit often.
*Please confirm the event dates and times with individual event organisers.
Escape To The Moor - 5 mile guided walk
Every Saturday or other dates to suit your group
Walk in the footsteps of the Brontes and explore the wild Yorkshire moors visiting all key beauty spots and landmarks. You’ll learn about local places of interest and hear stories of local folk-lore. Read the reviews!
All walkers should be prepared for it to be cold, wet and windy on the moor and as such, possess appropriate boots and clothing. Winter woollies are a must!
Fri 9th - Sun 11th October 2020
The steampunk genre re-imagines Victorian & Edwardian science fiction in a “retro-futuristic” style usually with street entertainers, bands, and a very special “Steampunk Burlesque” show.
However, this year’s event will be a Covid-19 socially distanced event with no traders or performers. You are welcome to visit wearing costumes, including masks as appropriate.

Haworth Christmas Weekends
December Weekends 2020
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible to host the special Christmas events on Main Street with entertainers as usual. However, Haworth is looking forward to welcoming visitors to a magical Christmas atmosphere with trees and twinkling lights – everyone is to be socially-distanced, of course. Plus, there’s late night shopping on Thursday 10th Dec and there’s the Elf Express steam train rides.
Rather than supporting Amazon, please support the many independent retailers of Haworth for your Christmas presents this year. It will make a huge difference!
Haworth 1940s Weekend 2021
15th & 16th May 2021
Haworth hosts one of the biggest and best 1940’s events in the UK. The whole village is transformed with decoration, stalls, dances, re-enactments along Main Street and in the park.
Take a sight-seeing ride around the area on a vintage bus and join thousands of others in a 1940s costume, though this is not essential.
The Haworth 1940s Weekend is a spectacular, must-see event and we strongly suggest you book your accommodation now.
