As you would expect with the current situation, the Haworth events calendar has been much reduced with many events scaled back or cancelled for 2020.
Haworth is still very much open for business though and welcoming visitors every day. Safety measures are in place in all shops, cafes and bars, so do visit and enjoy your time with us.
Hopefully 2021 will see the return of our most popular events as shown in this Christmas picture as well as the many regular Haworth events hosted by the Bronte Parsonage Museum, railway, bars and hotels.
Haworth events are added to this page as soon as we receive them, so do visit often.
*Please confirm the Haworth events calendar with the individual event organisers.

Steam Into Christmas On The Elf Express
December 2020 - get booking!
Arriving at Oxenhope Station, you’ll take a seat in your very own private compartment and enjoy a steam train ride to ‘Kringle Town’ where you’ll meet Santa and his many elf helpers.
Steam through the Worth Valley and be mesmerised by the enchanting tunnel of lights and join in the fun with lots of singing, laughter and goodies!
Haworth Christmas Weekends
Due to the restrictions, it is not possible to host the special Christmas events on Main Street with entertainers as usual. However, Haworth is still welcoming visitors to a magical Christmas atmosphere with trees and twinkling lights. Everyone is to be socially-distanced and cafes are serving take-away drinks, etc. Plus, there’s late night shopping on Thursday 10th Dec and there’s the Elf Express steam train rides on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
Christmas shopping – rather than supporting Amazon, please support the many independent retailers of Haworth for your Christmas presents. It will make a huge difference to them and the village.
Escape To The Moor - 5 mile guided walk
Saturdays and other dates to suit your group
Walk in the footsteps of the Brontes and explore the wild Yorkshire moors visiting all key beauty spots and landmarks. You’ll learn about local places of interest and hear stories of local folk-lore. Read the reviews!
Due to the restrictions, walks are socially-distanced and limited to a maximum group of five plus your guide.
Please be prepared for it to be cold, wet and windy on the moor and as such, possess appropriate boots and clothing. Winter woollies are a must!
Haworth 1940s Weekend 2021
15th & 16th May 2021
Haworth hosts one of the biggest and best 1940’s events in the UK. The whole village is transformed with decoration, stalls, dances, re-enactments along Main Street and in the park.
Take a sight-seeing ride around the area on a vintage bus and join thousands of others in a 1940s costume, though this is not essential.
The Haworth 1940s Weekend is a spectacular, must-see event and we strongly suggest you book your accommodation now.
