Haworth Christmas Events 2020

Government guidelines continue to be followed, so the Haworth events calendar has been scaled back for 2021.

However, Haworth is very much open for business and welcoming visitors every day.

Haworth events will be added to this page as soon as we receive them, so do visit often or join our mailing list to stay up to date.

*Please note: we strive to keep this listing up to date, but before booking your accommodation, please confirm event details with the individual organisers.

Escape To The Moor - 5 mile guided walk

Book a guided walk to suit your group

Walk in the footsteps of the Brontes and explore the wild Yorkshire moors visiting all key beauty spots and landmarks. You’ll learn about local places of interest and hear stories of local folk-lore. Read the reviews!

Due to current restrictions, walks are socially-distanced and limited to a maximum group of five people plus your guide. However, walks from June onwards are not expected to be restricted.

Please be prepared for it to be cold, wet and windy on the moor and as such, you will need to possess appropriate boots and clothing.

Haworth 1940s Weekend 2021

25th September 2021

Haworth hosts one of the biggest and best 1940’s events in the UK.

The village is transformed with decoration, stalls, dances and re-enactments along Main Street and the park.

The event is just on a single day this year, but promises to be extremely popular after having to cancel last year’s weekend event. Join us in a 1940s costume for lots of dancing and merriment.

The Haworth 1940s Weekend is a spectacular, must-see event and we strongly suggest you book your accommodation now.

Steam Into A Haworth Christmas!

December 2021

A Haworth Christmas is like no other with fairy lights, brass bands playing carols and other entertainment and stall-holders creating a very special atmosphere.

The Keighley And Worth Valley Railway is incredibly popular with children able to meet Santa, and his helpers, on a real steam train! Arriving at Oxenhope Station, you’ll take a seat in your very own private compartment and enjoy a steam train ride to ‘Kringle Town’ where you’ll meet Santa and his many elf helpers.

Steam through the Worth Valley and be mesmerised by the enchanting tunnel of lights and join in the fun with lots of singing, laughter and goodies!

Dates will be published here in due course!
