Escape To The Moor - 5 mile guided walk
Every 2nd Saturday, or anytime as a private booking
Walk in the footsteps of the Brontes and explore the wild Yorkshire moors visiting all key beauty spots and landmarks. You’ll learn about local places of interest, what inspired the Brontes and hear stories of local folk-lore. Read the reviews!
The Escape To The Moor guided walk is 5 miles and takes approx 3.5 to 4 hours.
If your group would prefer a shorter or longer walk, or tour around the village, get in touch. We can tailor everything to you.
Haworth Craft Fair 2021
24th & 25th July 2021
A treasure trove of handmade gifts and crafts with quality stallholders selling unique and interesting gifts not readily available on the high street.
A lovely way to shop local in beautiful surroundings, meet the makers, enjoy demonstrations whilst supporting local small businesses. There’s also a delicious cafe to stop and rest a while.

Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing
29th July to 1st August 2021
This year’s stellar line-up includes Holly McNish, Samira Ahmed, Lipservice & Anita Sethi, and the programme is mostly online so you can join us from wherever you are in the world.

Haworth Haddock Train Rides
Sat 31st July , 14th & 28th August
Enjoy a pre-booked drinks package as you travel through Bronte country before arriving at Keighley station.
Fish and chips will be delivered to you at your seat, provided by a local ‘chippy’ in Crossflats – Jacks Fisheries.
A band will be waiting to entertain you, so you can sit back and listen or dance the night away on the platform.
The evening of song will finish about 10.40pm when it’s back on the train and head back to Oxenhope.
Haworth 1940s Weekend 2021
25th September 2021
Haworth hosts one of the biggest and best 1940’s events in the UK.
The village is transformed with decoration, stalls, dances and re-enactments along Main Street and the park.
The event is just on a single day this year, but promises to be extremely popular after having to cancel last year’s weekend event. Join us in a 1940s costume for lots of dancing and merriment.
The Haworth 1940s Weekend is a spectacular, must-see event and we strongly suggest you book your accommodation now.
Haworth Steampunk Weekend 2021
Fri 8th - Sun 10th October
You will see Steampunk Victorian / Edwardian fashion, Steampunk vehicles, dancers, tea duelling, best dressed, Steampunk accessories and Steampunk traders.
Steampunks gather to socialise, shop and be entertained whilst taking in the lovely atmosphere and pretty surrounds.
This is an annual charity event for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
KWVR Beer & Music Festival 2021
Thursday 14th October – Sunday 17th October
The Railway is transformed into a 5 mile beer festival with bars at Oxenhope (every day), Ingrow (Friday to Sunday) and Keighley (Friday & Saturday). Our steam trains will also convey on-train bars from Friday to Sunday.
Music will be in the Exhibition Hall at Oxenhope station and in the marquee at Ingrow station.
There are weekend rover tickets and day tickets available for riding on the trains. There are also tickets for just access to the festival site on Friday & Saturday: £15, reduced to £10 after 8pm (on a first come, first served basis).

Jurassic Specials with a giant T-Rex & Raptor!
October Half Term, 25th – 29th October 2021
DON’T BLINK……DON’T BREATHE……AND DEFINITELY DON’T RUN!!
See the epic battle between an animatronic 8ft T-Rex and mischievous Raptor at Keighley. There’ll be cute baby dinosaurs for those not quite brave enough to meet the bigger boys, and live reptiles waiting for you too.
Takes place at the Exhibition Shed at Oxenhope Station & Keighley Station and includes unlimited train travel.
Steam Into A Haworth Christmas!
The Keighley And Worth Valley Railway at Christmas is incredibly popular with children able to meet Santa, and his helpers, on a real steam train! Arriving at Oxenhope Station, you’ll take a seat in your very own private compartment and enjoy a steam train ride to ‘Kringle Town’ where you’ll meet Santa and his many elf helpers.
Steam through the Worth Valley and be mesmerised by the enchanting tunnel of lights and join in the fun with lots of singing, laughter and goodies!
Haworth Christmas Festival 2021
27th November - 19th December 2021
A Haworth Christmas is lit by twinkling fairy lights and pretty shop windows.
The cobbled street is home to wonderful independent gift shops, tea rooms and public houses, and every weekend in December the residents and traders host bands, choirs, carol singers and Father Christmas for visitors to enjoy. There’s also a craft fair with lots of stall-holders in the Schoolrooms too.
Bring your family and friends and escape into the magical, old-world charm of our beautiful Yorkshire village.
