Alcomden Stones, Haworth Moor, Yorkshire

Alcomden Stones is a rocky outcrop approx half a mile west of Top Withens on Haworth Moor. It's likely to have been made by natural glacial movements during the last ice age. The main feature is a large rocking stone weighing over six tons, resting on two large blocks embedded in the heather.
